LED Pulse Light & High-Definition Camera Sorting

Spray  is an optical sorter with ultra-high-resolution cameras that examines products on a conveyor belt.
The system is designed for the inspection of whole or cut agri-food products: fruit and vegetables.

Spray  can reject color defects, rotten products, and foreign bodies, even those of the same color as the good product.
The product is fed onto the inspection conveyor, which stabilizes it so it doesn’t roll. The viewing area is well separated from the ejection area to prevent product splashes from affecting sorting over time.

Spray  is equipped with an air rejection system using 176 electrically controlled ejection valves.

It can have a single ejection system, or, in 3Way mode, it can have two rejection systems that differentiate unusable defects from defects considered second-choice products.

Spray  is an Octa-Chromatic machine equipped with the following technologies:

• NIR (Near InfraRed) technology;
• Visible Color analysis;
• Chlorophyll analysis;
• Translucency analysis;
• Shape analysis.

Near infrared (NIR) technology   detects rot and foreign bodies. Visible color analysis detects color defects such as green produce, yellowing, and so on.
Chlorophyll analysis allows for highly accurate detection of foreign bodies in products with high chlorophyll content (salad, peas, green beans).
Translucency analysis detects stones in dehydrated fruit and contaminants on the side facing the conveyor belt.
Shape analysis detects small particles in fruit and green beans. It also allows for the removal of small scraps.
An Ethernet connection is available for remote control.
The machine collects statistical data on rejected products to analyze the quality of selected raw materials.
