Below, you’ll find some use cases where Yazzoom can help you create value.

Decision Support

For most companies, optimizing their supply chain and logistic performances is the biggest opportunity to significantly reduce their cost and so increase their revenues. Unfortunately this optimization project isn’t easy. Luckily, Yazzoom helps you achieve logistic excellence by integrating a custom-made decision support system in your operational system. In these decision support systems we utilize linear programming and planning software algorithms to optimize your supply chain and logistics operations.

Furthermore we can also create decision support systems for the optimization of purchase and inventory decisions which will lead to significant savings, greater efficiency and preparedness.

Some examples of realized solutions:

  • Recommending the best way to combine the product orders in a production planning for steel profile producer KSprofiel. Also optimizes how to slit small bands of steel out of big steel rolls.
  • Recommending the optimal purchase plan for steel rolls taking into account prices, availabilities and travel times for steel profiel producer KSprofiel.
  • Recommending how to best pick the millions of orders from a warehouse and in this way deal with peak load periods like Black Friday for fashion logistics specialist Bleckmann.

Root cause analysis

Root cause analysis is a problem solving technique where you identify the real cause of a problem and deal with it, rather than simply continuing to deal with the symptoms. The reasoning behind the technique is that an organization has to identify the underlying cause of a problem rather than simply correcting the output.  Although root cause analysis is normally used to solve a specific (business) problem Yazzoom also uses it to improve your business processes or fix your software bugs.

Process mining

Yazzoom uses specialised data-mining algorithms to extract knowledge from event logs. This knowledge let you discover the actual operational process and how it is executed daily.  The generated visualisation of the process makes it easy to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies within the process and provide us with opportunities to completely redesigning the business process for increased operational efficiency. It can also monitor your employees whether they follow the instructions.
Furthermore, anomaly detection marks events that occur which do not conform to an expected pattern so they can be used for alert generation, reporting or debugging.
