When the beer has to be filled in small amounts is essential to choose the right system. Thanks to a compact and reliable solution, even the craft brewers can keep costs down without sacrificing the quality of the beer produced and of the plant. Here, in brief, three different models of plants for craft breweries to fill the beer in the bottles model 9-9-1, in cans model 8-1 and in kegs , model 2T automatic.
The isobaric monoblock filler for glass bottles, 9-9-1 model, is constituted by a rinsing section with 9 fixed nozzles, a filling section equipped with 9 mechanized valves and one crowing section: solid framework and bench welded structure in carbon steel submitted to anticorrosion treatment, such as: sandblasting, metalizing and painting, complete coating by AISI204L steel plate suitable for use in wet rooms and in compliance with food industry regulations.
The line has a capacity of 2,150 0.33 l. bph.: the hourly production rate decreases if the measure of the bottles increases. This plant for craft breweries can be equipped with one or more change over kits in order to fill and cap the different sizes of bottles present on the market.
For an hourly production of 3500 cans, COMAC produces the isobaric monoblock 8-1 with 8 mechanical valves for filling and one seamer station.
This model of plant for craft breweries, which is proving very popular in the USA where the craft beer in cans began to be increasingly common , differs from its competitors , for small breweries, for the filling system that is not linear and but rotary.
This is a great advantage for the product that as soon as put in the can is quickly seamed in order to avoid too much exposure to the air which affects the shelf life of the product itself , thus ensuring a very low oxygen pick-up, as required by the big beer producing groups.
To conclude, Comac has been producing for years a semiautomatic Keg Washer & Filler Mod. Line 2TSA provided with one AISI 316L stainless steel tank to heat and store one cleaning solution. The tank is equipped with an internal heating coil fed by steam. The proposed Machine has a nominal output of 34 Kegs/h with kegs of 30 L and is set for pre-washing, detergent solution cleaning ( acid and/or caustic), hot water rinsing, steam sterilization and filling of the keg.
Loading of empty keg, shifting of the keg from the first to the second head and unloading the full keg are manual operations.
